Palm kernel shells generate higher heat during combustion compared to typical biomass fuels. High-quality palm kernel shells can have a calorific value of up to 4600 kcal/kg, and their unique chemical characteristics can reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, after being thoroughly crushed and disposed of, palm kernel shells are excellent alternative fuels for incinerators.

Palm kernel shells are fed into a dual-shaft shredder by a chain plate conveyor and pushed into the shredder’s cutting chamber by a hydraulic pusher from above for crushing. The conveyor can automatically adjust the feed rate according to the load of the main motor to ensure continuous and sufficient supply of raw materials. The crushed materials are collected and outputted on a discharge conveyor for the next step of processing.
